The decision was taken last night that I am not going to see Grampa today - after all the waiting to see if Granny was going to be ok after the operation, it turns out that they have something going on, and I completely understand the principal that one thing a day is enough when you have limited energy. It's very disappointing, but Granny is ok after her cataract operation and that is great news. We will just have to try again!
Bel came for the afternoon & early evening on Monday - it was so nice to spend some relaxed time with her, just really chilled out with some gossiping, and some cards! Rach and Sue came yesterday, which was great, and a welcome relief from what has not been a very good few days. And I should be feeling much better as I started the Stemetil injections on Tuesday getting ready for going to Trearddur at the weekend. But I haven't, I have been feeling rubbish!! So sorry for the lack of posts, and lack of comments as well, I will do my best to catch up today, but I will end up getting behind again over the weekend as I will be off the internet!! I'm so looking forward to seeing the sea again, and hopefully this lovely weather will last and we can open the patio door and let in that lovely sea air, and maybe, just maybe I will be well enough to sit out on the patio for a bit. Fingers crossed.
Just been to visit Crazy Cath's blog who is also giving up smoking, and forgot to say that all is still going well on that front. I have days when I don't feel the urge at all, then days (like today) when the pain is up, or something stressful happens and I really want one. But I am resisting. I haven't got this far to give in!

Awww Mima I am so so sorry that you are not getting to see your Grampa today I know you were looking forward to seeing him. On the upside though it means that you will be well rested for your girly weekend. My fingers (and toes) are crossed that the weather holds and that you get onto that patio and then who knows we may manage "The Hollies" with Sue in June - here's hoping. Take care and have a fantastic weekend. x
Hi Mima, you are doing very well on the non smoking front. It's great that you've had some good friends around too. I hope you have a lovely weekend and come back feeling refreshed. Love Debs x
Sorry you won't be seeing your Grampa. I'll keep good thoughts here that the weather holds for you well and that your weekend works out.
Good news on the no smoking.. I smoked for so many years. 3.5 years now and only an occasional desire for one these days.
Hey Soul Friend.... First you need to take care of yourself... don't worry about comments and visiting other blogs or posting for now...
Relax this weekend get some fresh air and then ... when you havent had so much excitement you can maybe visit your grandpa and get on the internet
HUGS

You know, your grampa is in your thoughts and you will be in his. Take care sweetie,
CJ xx
Don't give girl - don't!! You will hate the taste and the feeling it gives you from the drugs in it - and then you will make yourself feel bad for giving in! You're doing great!!
Your Grandparents will understand your position as you understand theirs....
How lovely it would be to see the sea.....we have snow - again - today.
You're doing very well with giving up smoking for so long Mima. Good for you.
Once your Gran has recovered from her cataract operation that will be one less thing to worry about.
Try and relax this weekend.
Glad you have some nice friends who visit.
I can't remember if I asked- you do have a Bear to look after you don't you? Only, we Bears are excellent for soothing all types of nonsense stress. Even giving up smoking. Except for if you ues nicorrette gum. Mummy used that stuff. Got some of it stuck in me fur.
Hi! Mima
Glad to know you are doing well with the no smoking. I'm looking forward to having the doors open too.
Bye
Carole
I think there's a lot going on for you Mima, and maybe it's a good thing for you to rest.
Boy, how EXCELLENT are you re the smoking! Brilliant job...
The way to go with the smoking. I want to get like that with my smoking. Glad to hear you feeling well and getting out. Enjoy the family this weekend.
Mima that is so great that you are sticking with not smoking. I know the cravings can get very intense...but you have come so very far. As we say in excited exclamation here in the USA...You Rock!
I hope you weekend at the beach is bringing you wonderful smiles and joy to your heart.
Brill news on the no smoking!!
Glad to hear Granny is is ok after her op. Hope you get to see them soon. :)
It seems so simple to say "buckup, things will be better," but I know that when the health of those you love is getting dire and you can't do anything about it you feel so useless...but there's the phone or mail...call them, write them...your voice or your words will be appreciated and loved, I'm sure! I'm thinking of you dear Mina!
hugs
Sandi
Hope your weekend was filled with lovely weather at the sea, Mima! I'm so sorry you're still feeling so awful and hope things get better soon -- hugs!
Hi ya ;-)
Sorry you didn't get to see Grandpa but so pleased Granny's op went well.
And hope your weekend went well :-) plus the injections have kicked in.
Show off that smoking chart :-) It really does speak volumes Mima, visually it gets over just how ruddy fantastic you are doing.
Remember, you are human and not a robot ;-) Be kind to yourself.
As always, I love to hear from you.
Off to bed now . . . Goodnight . . . Sue
Hello Mima, nice to meet you. As I read your post I pictured you sitting on a patio with the sun warming you - I hope you had a lovely weekend. GBS.
